Influenza is a respiratory illness caused by a variety of influenza viruses. It is more than the common cold and some of the primary symptoms are fever, cough, sore throat and body aches.

Any child with a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees (fever) orally should stay home from school for at least 24 hours after the fever is gone without the use of fever-reducing medication. Please help us maintain a healthy learning environment for everyone by keeping children at home when ill.
