The WASD Education Foundation is seeking nominations for the district’s 2024 Distinguished Alumni Awards. The 2024 recipients will be celebrated and recognized during its second annual Cherry + White Appreciation Night on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Taking a big first step

Curtin Intermediate School takes students from the kindergarten-3rd primary grade years to the next step in their academic and social journeys. Increased challenges in core curriculum courses and introduction to enhanced music education, such as playing a musical instrument, will help your child learn about his or her aptitudes and abilities and help shape your child's future interests.

Reading skills are advancing, curiosity grows, and children begin seeking out more knowledge on their own. They are building on the foundation of primary school in a new, exciting environment and are excited to share what they have learned, created, and enjoy being engaged.
