Welcome new teachers! New teacher induction will take place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, and Tuesday, Aug. 20.

Curtin's Open House is scheduled for all grades from 5:30-7:30 p.m. At Lycoming Valley, fourth grade Open House is scheduled from 5:30-6:30 p.m., and fifth and sixth grades from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Drum corps season doesn't end with the DCI World Championships in August, as the Drum Corps Associates World Championships are set to take place over Labor Day Weekend at WAHS.

The WASD Education Foundation's second Donor & Alumni Appreciation event returns to downtown to celebrate the philanthropic support of the school district, while recognizing the 2019 Distinguished Alumni.

Musical Events
July
WASD once again will offer its four-day Summer String Camp to students of the district from July 29 to Aug. 1 at Williamsport Area High School. The camp will run each day from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
