WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (DECEMBER 10, 2020) — In a continued effort to help slow the community spread of COVID-19, the Williamsport Area School District will remain in full remote learning through Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.
Students districtwide will maintain their remote learning using Schoology, following their regular academic schedules:
WAHS: 7:40 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. | WAMS: 7:45 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.
Intermediate Schools: 8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. | Primary Schools: 9:05 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
All students will be held responsible for all assignments and any lapse in attendance.
The extension of this shift to full remote learning coincides with the district’s scheduled Winter Break (Dec. 23-Jan. 1). Students will resume remote learning on Jan. 4, in accordance to the school calendar.
At this time, the district plans to return to five-day, in-person instruction beginning Monday, Jan. 11. We will continue to closely monitor and track county data, and any changes or updates to this plan will be communicated to you via the district’s website, social media and SwiftK12 system.
If you believe you’ve been exposed to or have had a positive case in your household, please continue to notify your child’s school.
