FY23 Fall Sports Registration Graphic

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (MAY 26, 2022) — Middle and high school students wishing to play during the 2022-2023 fall sports season (football, soccer, cross country, girls tennis, girls volleyball, golf and cheerleading) will need to register on or by Wednesday, June 1.

Physicals are scheduled on Monday, June 6, and Tuesday, June 7, at Williamsport Area High School in the fitness center/training room. Online information must be complete ahead of time in order to receive your physical.

Students and parents will already have their accounts established and linked together at www.planeths.com if they have played sports in the past.  You will be able to use most of the information that is already in the system to prepare for the next school year.

Log into the student account and then have your parent account do the same at: www.planeths.com.

Be sure to click which sport to play, that is our way of knowing that you’re registering for the sport.

  1. Click “Athletic Forms.”
  2. Check the boxes for the sport(s) he/she will play during the new school year.
  3. Scroll down the page to the forms and click the link for PIAA-Section 1.
  4. Look for the “Print/Upload/Re-use Here” blue link near top of page/form.
  5. Click that link to re-use last year’s form/information.
  6. Click the blue box: “Re-use Document.”
  7. Go through Section 1, update grade level and other necessary information.
  8. Go through Sections 2-3-4-5-6 to complete those forms.
  9. Section 6: The health history is the other form that can be selected as “re-use” for next year. Click the blue “re-use” button and provide any updates to the health history.
  10. Be sure to complete the six school forms: rules page, overnight stay page, reasonable suspicion page, HIPPA page and hazing page to complete the information.

Once the parent forms are done, complete the same process for the student account, with him/her signing all of their forms for the new school year/season.

When the parent and student forms are done, students will be ready for the physicals.

If this coming fall season is your first sport you’ve played and you don’t already have an account with the www.planeths.complatform, please follow these directions:

  1. All of our school and PIAA forms are now completed online with our new registration platform.  Parents & Students must each create an account on this website, then link the accounts together and each separately sign/initial and complete the necessary forms.
  2. www.planeths.com Both the student and parent must each create their own individual account with either their cell phone number or an email address and a password.  Please keep this information, as you will continue to use it for other seasons and subsequent years for participation in the Williamsport athletic program.
  3. Once the accounts are created and linked together, please go the “athletic forms” tab and each complete the necessary forms, both PIAA and school forms, there are ten (10) total to complete by reading and initialing them.  Both student and parent have to both do this step, each on their own.
    • The parent will complete sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 along with the school forms for rules & regulations, overnight stays, reasonable suspicion and hazing policy.
    • The student will complete sections 3, 4, 5, 6 along with the school forms for rules & regulations, overnight stays, reasonable suspicion and hazing policy.
    • Section 7 is where we upload the actual physical form from the doctor.  Leave that blank for now, skip during registration.  The doctor must complete this specific form, Section 7 and then that form would be uploaded to the student’s account.  If you get the school physical, we will upload the physical form for you.
    • Section 9 is only if there is a problem with their current status, nothing needs to be uploaded at this time.  You would leave this form blank right now when doing the initial information.
  4. Once your forms are complete and signed by both the student and parent, he/she is ready for the physical.

Any questions, please contact Mr. Sean McCann, athletic director:  [email protected].
