WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (MARCH 21, 2024) — Williamsport Area High School had the honor of hosting Pennsylvania Secretary of Education Dr. Kahlid Mumin, who explored the school's in-house Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program.
Mumin made stops in the Biotechnology, Health Occupations, Commercial Arts, Construction Trades, and Engineering and Robotics classrooms. Getting a chance to interact with students and gaining insight into their post-secondary plans, Mumin explored the ways WAHS is preparing students for careers beyond high school, particularly through the CTE tract.
Thank you, Dr. Mumin, for your visit and your commitment to education and for recognizing the incredible work being done here at WAHS.
