Construction Trades Students Restore Brandon Park Dugouts

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (MAY 18, 2022) — Construction trades students from Williamsport Area High School put in the work today at Brandon Park to begin restoring the dugouts at one of the baseball fields.
The students worked earlier this year to secure a $5,000 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools grant that would go toward a project to benefit and improve their community.
Working in partnership with the city, the project came to life on Wednesday morning to replace and repair the roofs of each dugout at the northern-most baseball field along Parkwood and Elizabeth streets.
Construction trades is one of the 15 workforce development courses made available to WAHS students through the high school's Career and Technical Education program.
