WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (JAN. 14, 2026) — The Williamsport Area School District hosted a special board recognition ceremony Tuesday night to honor the dedication and contributions of its school board members as part of January's School Director Appreciation Month. 

As part of the celebration, students from each school were paired with a board member to commemorate the occasion, with board members receiving a selected book dedicated in their name for placement in each of the students' school libraries.
