WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (OCTOBER 6, 2025) — Williamsport Area High School crowned Taali Buie and Jada Bacon as its 2025 Homecoming King and Queen during Friday night’s ceremony at STA Stadium.

Buie is the son of Danyell Taylor and Nafis Buie. He is a member of the track and field team, a writer for "The Cherry and White" and serves on the senior class executive board.

Bacon is the daughter of Thomas Bower and Emily Bacon. She is a member of the cheerleading squad and the senior class executive board and plans to pursue a career in elementary education.

Also representing the senior class on this year’s Homecoming Court were:

• Dayianna Baines, daughter of Khamila Baines and Darren Barr, is a member of the track team, serves on the executive board and works on the yearbook staff.
  
  
• Cooper Allmaras, son of Damon and Kelly Allmaras, competes on the cross country, track and swimming teams and is a member of The Cherry and White and National Honor Society.
  
  
• Kye Diakite, son of Robyn Diakite, competes on the track and basketball teams, plays in the orchestra and serves on the senior class executive board.
  
  
• Emma Vollman, daughter of Patrick and Lisa Vollman, is senior class president, plays softball and plans to study nursing.
  
  
• Sophia Lepley, daughter of Jason and Abbey Lepley, is a cheerleader, treasurer for the Senior Executive Board and a Link Crew leader.
  
  
• Xavier Johnston, son of James and Marian Johnston, performs with the Millionaire Singers and participates in the school’s music, drama and community theater programs.
  
  
• Collin Nasdeo, son of Brian and Keri Nasdeo, is a member of the wrestling team and National Honor Society and plans to study engineering in college.
  
  
• Kyna Varner, daughter of Dr. Andrea McDonough and Clint Varner, plays soccer and is a member of National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society.
  
  
• Avani Rainer, daughter of Harold Rainer and April Tutler, is a member of the senior class executive board and volleyball team.
  
  
• Giovanni White, son of Ana White, is captain of the football team, a baseball player, senior class officer and Link Crew leader.

The 12 members of the court were selected by the senior class for their leadership and contributions to school activities.
