The Williamsport Area School District’s kindergarten and new student registration week is scheduled for March 16-20.

Children must be age 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2026, to enroll.

Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the District Service Center, 2780 W. Fourth St. The registration week is open enrollment, and no appointment is required. Registration after March 20 will be available by appointment only.

All students will be assigned to their home area school if they are registered by June 4.

Parents may begin the registration process online in advance to complete in-person registration in as little as 15 minutes by clicking here.

Whether registered in advance or on the scheduled date, all required documentation must be brought to ensure registration can be completed. Required documentation includes:

• the child’s birth certificate,
• guardian identification (driver’s license, state ID, etc.),
• proof of residence (current utility bill, lease or rental agreement, bank statement, income tax return or paycheck stub; documents must include the name of the enrolling guardian and address),
• the child’s up-to-date immunization records, and
• records of school-age dental and medical examinations, if completed.
