During the 2011-12 school year, the WASD Education Foundation started an ambitious effort to launch the district's FIRST Alumni Association.  In so doing, we have started to build a relationship with our alumni by spotlighting their accomplishments and achievements in both the district's winter and spring newsletters.  In addition, we have established and maintained contact with some 7,500 alumni using our database and Foundation Facebook page to promote district news and events.

With that little push, we piqued the interest of our alumni community, and it is our hope that the Alumni Association will be able to build on that and create a strong, lasting connection to those from our past and graduating classes.

GET STARTED!  'Like' both the Alumni Association's Facebook page, as well as register — FOR FREE — to join the Williamsport Area High School Online Community, provided by Harris Connect.  By doing so, you will join our mailing list to receive our monthly newsletter of updates, and find numerous ways to get back in touch with your classmates — with more to come as we continue to expand and grow.

Send any old pictures you may have — from high school, reunions, etc. (digitally, if possible) — to Executive Director Greg L. Hayes at ghayes@wasd.org.  In addition, send any reunion news you'd like to include in our upcoming e-newsletters, as well as here, to attract a greater turnout at your next reunion!

We have a proud alumni base of novelists, artists, musicians, athletes, award-winning professionals and community leaders who all started here!  With that, we welcome you back!
