 Why is Williamsport home of the Millionaires?
This project involves the study of the historical and cultural aspects of the Williamsport community during the mid-1800's when Williamsport was known as the "lumber capital of the world" and boasted more millionaires per capita than anyplace else in the country. The project focuses primarily on the background and history of Williamsport's Historic District, West Fourth Street, now known as "Millionaires Row."

8th Annual Cultural Diversity Day – 5 pm. Brandon Park
Please come and help us celebrate at the 8th Annual Cultural Diversity Festival on Friday, May 9th at 5 pm in Brandon Park.  The festival will feature live entertainment, games, food stands, as well as student art displays.   The rain location for the festival is Curtin Middle School.   We hope to see you there!
