Dear Community,

It’s hard to believe we’re already a few months into another school year. The beginning of this academic year has been a busy and exciting time for all of us.

In this fall edition of our newsletter, you will find a wealth of information showcasing the remarkable events and achievements taking place at WASD in just a short span of time. We’re thrilled to share the incredible progress we’ve made so far this year and anticipate the exciting developments that lie ahead.

On the administrative front, we’ve been moving forward with our construction projects, with a particular focus on the renovation of Lycoming Valley Intermediate School. While we’re still in the early stages of this transformation, we’re excited on its progression and ultimate scheduled completion at the end of 2024.

Additionally, our budget planning season is upon us. We’ll soon be hard at work fine-tuning our 2024-2025 budget. We invite you to stay informed about this process as we provide presentations and updates during our school board meetings throughout the course of the winter and spring.

As we look ahead to what promises to be another exceptionally successful school year, I encourage you to take the opportunity to join us at any of our upcoming events. In the meantime, please read through the following pages and join us in celebrating our many Millionaire accomplishments.
