The Williamsport Area School District has implemented an electronic application process, please follow the directions below to submit your application. All documentation should be submitted electronically in order for it to be accessible by our interview teams.  Supporting documents should be uploaded or attached to your application prior to submission.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
 
TO APPLY FOR PART TIME OR FULL TIME POSITIONS:
If you are a current employee or substitute employee for the W.A.S.D. please click on this link to create an internal log-in profile for applications and bids, INTERNAL JOB APPLICATION .  This enables you to create a log-in profile and complete an online application as an INTERNAL applicant.  Once you have created your profile you will simply need to log-in to the site using your saved profile to apply your application to subsequent postings.  If you are an internal applicant and have already created a profile click on job postings and log-in to begin the application/bid process.
 
If you are a first time user applying as an outside applicant please view the postings and click on the apply button to create an account as an EXTERNAL applicant.  Future visits will not require you to recreate your information, you will simply log-in and apply your previous application for each posting.  View job postings to begin.
 
SUBSTITUTING:
If you are applying to work as a substitute at the W.A.S.D. please read the important information below.
 
Please note:  All new hires will be required to provide the following records Substitute Application Documents before you will be able to begin working.  All information must be from within one year of your hire date of employment.  All positions within the W.A.S.D. require a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency or higher, as per the conditions of the job description.  You will be required to present a current driver's license or acceptable alternative form of ID and your social security card. 
 
If you are applying to work as a substitute teacher you must have current, or pending, Pennsylvania Teaching Certification.  Recent grads awaiting mailed PA Teaching Certification may apply to substitute after graduation by providing a letter from your college or university stating that you have met all the qualifications to graduate along with the Substitute Employee Application Documents as outlined in the instructions to the left of this screen

To apply for substitute positions please click on Substitute Application Documents where you will be given instructions and access to the appropriate applications.   
PA State Criminal Record Check (Act 34 Clearance) - complete online and print your results immediately
FBI Background Check (Act 114 Clearance) - register and pay online, then go to the fingerprint location noted on the instruction form to be printed.  You will be given a registration number to provide to the employer.
Child Abuse History (Act 151 Clearance) - print off and mail in form, results will be sent back to you directly in 2-3 weeks, you must provide the ORIGINAL for review and copying
School Personnel Health Record - to include evidence of recent physical exam and TB testing
