WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (JANUARY 21, 2020) — Williamsport Area High School junior Cecilia Fink’s charity Be You Boldly recently granted a combined $18,076 to K’s for Cancer and the River Valley Regional YMCA’s Livestrong Program.

Part of the charitable donation was made from Fink’s third annual Pie Day 5K held on Thanksgiving morning. The event had 494 participants, and, together with sponsors, helped to raise a net total of $16,076, which was divided evenly between the two nonprofit organizations.

An additional $2,000 was raised through Fink’s jewelry sales during 2019, all of which went directly to support K’s for Cancer.

Since 2014, Fink’s work has generated more than $46,000 for local charities. Her original goal of raising $50,000 by the time she graduates in 2021 has now lifted to $60,000.

Her 2020 fundraising efforts will continue to support these two organizations.
