WASD Names New Secondary Curriculum Supervisor

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (NOVEMBER 12, 2019) — Williamsport Area School District named Dr. Chad Greevy as its new Secondary Curriculum Supervisor tonight.

Greevy comes to the district from Loyalsock Township School District, where he currently serves as its middle school principal. He will replace Dr. Bernadette Boerckel, who resigned from the district in September for other employment.

He will officially join the district in the next several weeks.

Greevy brings nearly 20 years of professional and administrative experience to the position. He started his career in education in 2000 as a language arts teacher at Curtin Middle School. He also worked as an assistant principal for Donald E. Schick Elementary School and Loyalsock Township High School before moving into his latest administrative post as principal at Loyalsock Township Middle School.

In addition to his work in public education, he also served as an adjunct professor for Wilkes University. 

A Williamsport native and 1991 WAHS graduate, Greevy earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Allegheny College, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University, and his Education Doctorate Degree from Immaculata University.
