WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (JUNE 14, 2019) — Williamsport Area High School’s Millionaires Lane will close for construction beginning Monday, June 17, from the West Fourth Street entrance up to (but not including) the high school bus loop.

The closure is expected to last several weeks, as the district’s Millionaires Lane reconstruction project moves into its second and final phase.

The Fox Hollow Road entrance is scheduled to reopen late tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, and will become the primary route to and from the high school as the front side of the roadway closes Monday morning.

The Millionaires Lane project, scheduled for completion in mid-August, includes a complete resurfacing of the road, new curbing and drainage, along with the installation of new lighting and sidewalks for pedestrian traffic.

Construction work will greatly impact travel to and from the high school for the majority of the summer. The district will issue advanced notices on future anticipated closures.
