WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (NOVEMBER 2, 2018) — "Sixty-four ... then no more!" reads the banner across the top of the Williamsport High School Class of 1954's latest — and last — reunion program.

The class celebrated its final, official gathering on Oct. 20 at The Genetti Hotel to celebrate more than six decades since their high school graduation.

To help further commemorate the event, the class donated $1,267 to the high school's Strolling Strings program, a combination of its own fundraising and settling of its class account.

The Strolling Strings, under the direction of WAHS orchestra teacher Matthew Radspinner, provided musical entertainment at the event.

"We are flattered to receive this donation," Radspinner said. "It has been our honor to perform for their reunions over the years. This money will go directly to help fund the transportation costs for the Strolling Strings to travel to Pittsburgh in April to perform for the National Association for Music Education conference."
