8. PERSONNEL REPORT CONT'D:
8.1 RESIGNATIONS
Consider accepting the following resignation(s), effective on the dates and for
the purposes indicated:
C.
Robert E. Myers, full-time general maintenance worker for the District, for the
purpose of retirement, effective July 1, 2007.
RESOLVED: that the Board of School Directors of the Williamsport Area School
District acknowledges with profound regret the retirement of Robert E. Myers
from service in the Williamsport Area Schools and expresses its sincere
appreciation for his over 28 years of dedicated service to our school system as
a general maintenance worker. It further expresses the hope that his years of
retirement will be many and richly rewarding.
D.
Abby L. Sidleck, part-time instructional support aide at Roosevelt Middle
School, due to abandonment, effective March 14, 2007.
E.
Valorie L. Singleton, as part-time instructional support aide at Curtin Middle
School, for personal reasons, effective April 9, 2007.
8.3* ELECTION OF STAFF
Consider the election of the following staff, for the purpose and on the date
indicated:

Vicki L. Eberhart, 300 Chestnut St., Montoursville, as a track event worker,
effective March 30, 2007, to be paid at a flat rate per event (as determined by
the Athletic Director) as scheduled and approved by the Athletic Department.
Payment for these services will be forwarded to payroll for processing (pending
completion of all appropriate paperwork).
G.
The following person(s) to teach for the Alternative Education Twilight Program
(after hours) at the high school, effective March 8, 2007 for the 2006-2007
school year, at the rate established in the Agreement by and between the Board
of School Directors and the Williamsport Education Association ($26.22 per hour
effective July 1, 2006), plus up to five (5) days for training in Blended
Schools curriculum and access, Read 180 training, and orientation to the
Twilight Program, at the rate of $90 per day (provisional pending completion of
all appropriate paperwork*):

8.4* POSITION CHANGES
Consider approving the following position change(s):
C.
Trevor A. Enderle, 119 Mountain View Rd., Linden, from Dean of Students to
Assistant Principal at Roosevelt Middle School, effective March 1, 2007, at a
salary
of $82,855, prorated, and benefits as provided in the Act 93 Meet and Discuss
Compensation Plan, effective July 1, 2006. Mr. Enderle has received principal
certification from the Department of Education.

Nichole L. Kulka, 2526 Grand St., Williamsport, from a general food service
worker (4 hours daily) at the high school to a general food service worker (3
hours daily) at Jackson Elementary School, with a base wage rate of $10.19 per
hour, effective April 4, 2007 (replacing Kathy Girio, transferred).

Erica Y. McCann, 2344 Newberry St., Williamsport, from a substitute food
service worker to a general food service worker (3 hours daily) at Roosevelt
Middle School, with a base wage rate of $10.19 per hour, effective April 4,
2007 (replacing Lisa Peacock, transferred).

Dina M. Parker, 2411 Grand St., Williamsport, from a substitute food service
worker to a general food service worker (4 hours daily) at Jackson Elementary
School, with a base wage rate of $10.19 per hour, effective April 4, 2007
(replacing Wendy Dgien, transferred).

Consider approving the following request for facility use contd:
B.
American Cancer Society to use the football stadium, lights and sound system at
the Williamsport Area High School on June 15 and 16, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. on
Friday through 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, to hold their annual Williamsport Relay
for Life event. The American Cancer Society is requesting relief of the
occupancy fee estimated at $750.00. Labor fees to be paid by the American
Cancer Society. Certificate of Insurance to be received.
11. BIDS/CONTRACTS CONTD:

Consider authorizing an agreement with Interflex, Inc. to allow participation
in a multi-
district food services supply bid for the period of April 15, 2007 through
April 14, 2008, at a
cost of $200. Williamsport Area School District can terminate this agreement
at any time.
