8.   PERSONNEL REPORT CONT’D:

 

8.1  RESIGNATIONS

 

  Consider accepting the following resignation(s), effective on the dates and for the purposes  indicated:

 

A.   Babetta M. Rozaieski, full-time Instructional Support Aide/Interpreter at Round Hills   Elementary School, verbal resignation, effective February 9, 2007.

 

B.   Shirley A. Forker, substitute food service worker for the District, due to relocation out of the area, effective February 28, 2007.

 

8.2  LEAVES OF ABSENCE

 

  Consider approving the following leave(s) of absence:

 

 C.   Terry L. Walker, part-time instructional support aide at the high school, for an unpaid

    leave of absence, effective February 22, 2007, through May 22, 2007.

 

8.3*  ELECTION OF STAFF  

 

  Consider the election of the following staff, for the purpose and on the date indicated:  

 

 F.   The following substitute teachers, subject to assignment by the Superintendent of Schools, at the salary and/or daily rates as established by Board policy ($90 per day for first 45 days; $110 per day for days beyond the 45th day; up to a maximum of 180 days/year), and only for the actual number of hours assigned and worked:

 

    Mary E. Rider-Dincher  2845 Four Mile Dr., Montoursville

 

 G.   Jennifer A. Robertson, 1721 Williams Rd., Williamsport, Mathematics teacher at the     high school, as Graduation Coordinator at the high school, at a stipend amount of       $1,000 for the 2006-2007 school year (per MOU with WEA).

 

 H.   The following person(s) to teach for the Alternative Education Twilight Program (after hours) at the high school, effective for the 2006-2007 school year, at the rate established in the Agreement by and between the Board of School Directors and the Williamsport Education Association ($26.22 per hour effective July 1, 2006), plus up to five (5) days for training in Blended Schools curriculum and access, Read 180 training, and orientation to the Twilight Program, at the rate of $90 per day:

8.4*  POSITION CHANGES

 

  Consider approving the following position change(s):

   

 F.   Gloria J. Jennings, 1321 Lose Ave., 2nd Floor, Williamsport, from a general food service worker (5½ hours daily) at Curtin Middle School to Food Service Satellite Manager (6¼ hours daily) at Sheridan Elementary School, with a base wage rate of $12.14 per hour, effective February 5, 2007, through March 2, 2007 (replacing Linda Zegarski, transferred; Gloria has requested to return to her regular 5½ hour position as food service worker at Curtin, which will be effective on March 5, 2007).

 

 G.   Mary D. Masden, 15 Florence Drive, Cogan Station, from a general food         service worker (4¾ hours daily) at Hepburn-Lycoming Elementary School to Food     Service Satellite Manager (6¼ hours daily) at Sheridan Elementary School, with a     base wage rate of $12.14 per hour, effective February 26, 2007 (replacing Gloria       Jennings, who has requested to return to her regular 5½ hour position as food      service worker at Curtin).
