1.  CALL TO ORDER

 

2.  INTERVIEWS FOR BOARD VACANCY

 

3.   Consider the election of the following staff, for the purpose and on the date indicated:  

 

 A.   Christie L. Miller, 414 Yerger Rd., Linden, as a long-term substitute teacher, effective August 24, 2006, through the end of the 2006-2007 school term (tentative ending date of June 8, 2007), unless terminated sooner, to teach Mathematics at Curtin Middle School, at a salary rate of Step 1, bachelor’ s, $38,750, pending completion of all appropriate paperwork. Mrs. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven State College and is certified in Mid-Level Mathematics 7-9, Mid-Level Science 7-9, and Health & Physical Education (replacing Tiffani Ault, who will be on an unpaid leave beginning September, 2006).  

 

B.   The following as a Coordinating Teacher at the stipend amount and position indicated for the 2006-2007 school year:

 

Sandra Lynn Young Art Department $2,500

 

C.   Consider approving the following position change - Roy E. Puller, 1667 Grimesville Road, Williamsport, PA from a full time mechanic to the full time Supervisor of Vehicle Maintenance (245 day, 7 ½ hours per day) with a base wage of $47,660, effective August 23, 2006 (replacing James Remsnyder, retired in August 2006).

 

D.   Consider approving a contract with Taci Jay McGee, 1316 Grampian Boulevard, Williamsport, PA 17701, qualified interpreter of American Sign Language (ASL) and Pidgin Sign English (PSE) to provide day-to-day substitute interpreter services (as needed) to eligible students at the rate of $30.00 per hour for hours worked, effective August 28, 2006 through June 8, 2007.
