Committee Reports by Board Members
Mr. Zimmerman reported on the PSBA School Leadership Conference held in Hershey. He statted that it was a powerful conference. Dr. Pedro Noguera, Steinhardt School of Education, NYU, was the keynote speaker and presented a compelling message that we need to cultivate a climate of high expectations for all students. Mr. Zimmerman indicated that one of the main ideas he took from the conference is that we need to begin honing down criticism of our legislative leaders and begin sharing concerns to promote dialog for solutions.
