Freshmen and parents, you are about to begin four important and meaningful years of your life. This is your opportunity to learn more about success at WAHS.
This presentation is a more personal approach than we have had in previous years. Come and meet staff members who work with freshmen. There is no need for a tour since freshmen will have their own tour during transition day Wednesday August 27 when only new ninth grade students will be in session. Returning high school upperclassmen begin school Thursday August 28, 2003.
Ø Students will learn specific ways to start the school year right
Your Tool Box: agenda, notebook, books, and essentials
Skills: problem-solve, set goals, plan for great attendance and grades
Ø Parents will learn specific ways to contact our school family
When to contact school & best time to call teachers
