RE: Williamsport Area High School Boys & Girls Basketball Play-offs
The Williamsport Millionaire boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will begin the District II/IV Class AAAA play-offs on Saturday, February 21st. The two teams will play a girl-boy doubleheader on Saturday night at Danville Area High School. The girls’ play at 6:00 p.m.; followed by the boys’ game at 7:30 p.m.
The Lady Millionaires earned the number three seed and will play the number six seed, Delaware Valley Lady Warriors. The game will be played at Danville Area High School on Saturday, February 21st beginning at 6:00 p.m. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Abington Heights-Wallenpaupack game in the semi-finals, scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th.
The Millionaire Boys earned the number three seed and will play the number 6 seed in the tournament, the Wyoming Valley West Spartans. The game will be played at Danville Area High School on Saturday, February 21st beginning at 7:30 p.m. The winner of that game will play the winner of the Hazleton vs. Wallenpaupack/Coughlin game in the semi-finals, scheduled for Tuesday, February 24th.
Tickets will be on sale at Williamsport Area High School (school hours 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) and at the District Service Center at 201 West Third St. (office hours 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) beginning, Tuesday, February 17th until Friday, February 20th at 3:00 p.m. Prices will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
