WAHS Needs Your Help!
The
Williamsport Area High School is beginning a program to
honor our graduates who are serving in the military.
Currently, we have a bulletin board available for the
purpose of displaying pictures of men and women who are
serving in the military. All contributions of pictures
would be greatly appreciated. Please include the name,
graduation year, branch of service, and assignment.
Some student service clubs, such as CASA, will also be attempting to assemble "care packages" to send to our graduates that are serving in Iraq. Addresses and information about what the soldiers need or want would be greatly appreciated. Information may be sent by email to Richard Hill at rhill@wasd.org or Dennis Waddell at dwaddell@wasd.org OR by phone at 323-8411. Mr Hill's extension is 3317 and Mr. Waddell's is 3343.
No matter your politics, this is a time in our nation's history that we should do all we can to honor the brave men and women who stand on the front line in the defense of freedom. Thanks very much for your help.
-Richard Hill and Dennis Waddell.
