Dear Parents,
What a tremendous turnout we had for our Freshmen Welcoming Night on August 25th! It was so good to meet so many of you and have the treasured opportunity to talk with you. If you missed our first meeting, we hope to see you at our WAHS PTSO Open House on September 18th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We really appreciate the fact that we have a group of parents so eager to join our school family.
We know that parents are the number one influence on their children. Teachers are the number two influence. Together we can help our children succeed. And to that end, already this school year, our ninth graders have participated in two meaningful freshmen assemblies promoting high school success, career exploration, self-esteem and making quality decisions.
The Freshmen Mentoring Team will be hosting two more parent-student-teacher informative meetings this year:
