The Williamsport Area School District would like to recognize three outstanding achievements made by Patricia Lowery, PhD., Superintendent; David B. Stone, Jr.; School Board President; and Pamela J. Markle, School Board Member.
As members of the Pennsylvania School Board Association, all individuals will acquire lifetime inservice education awards for their participation in a variety of board development activities. These activities are designed to assist Superintendents and board members remain innovative and well-educated, while ensuring quality leadership, the ability to face ongoing challenges in the public school environment, and utilization of cost-effective resources.
Dr. Lowery will be awarded with a Boardmanship and an Advanced Boardmanship pin in recognition for her educational efforts as she has accumulated 120 PSBA points. David Stone and Pamela Markle will both receive Boardmanship pins earning 57 and 59 PSBA points respectively.
All three individuals will be recognized and presented with the PSBA pins on April 16th at the Williamsport Area School District School Board Meeting.
