SCHOOL BUS SAFETY RULES
q Dress appropriately for the weather.
q Arrive at the Bus Stop 5 minutes before the Bus normally picks up your child.
q Behave at the Bus Stop.
q No pushing, shoving, fighting, bad language or any other inappropriate behavior. Remember, the Bus Stop is an extension of school property.
q Wait for the School Bus to come to a complete Stop and the door opens before moving towards the School Bus.
q Remember the School Bus Danger Zone.
q Listen to the Bus Driver.
q No eating or drinking on the School Bus.
q Keep hands and head inside the School Bus.
q No cell phones allowed on the School Bus.
q No pushing, shoving, fighting, standing, bad language, or any other inappropriate behavior.
q Talk in a normal voice. Do not yell or scream.
q Always face forward.
q If a child is assigned to a specific seat by the Bus Driver, the child must sit in it. If a child refuses to sit in his/her assigned seat, the child will be removed from the School Bus and the parent will have find alternate means of transportation.
q Wait for the School Bus to come to a complete stop before exiting the Bus. Exit the School Bus one row at a time.
q Exit the School Bus one row at a time.
q Stay at least 10 feet away from the School Bus when getting off.
q Remember the School Bus Danger Zone.
