As students progress through high school, it is important to do so with a
goal of planning for a successful career. Most careers today require
technical training. Williamsport Area High School students can prepare for
a career with Tech Prep programs or the Career & Technical Education (CTE)
programs. Tech Prep programs provide technical training along with
academic preparation for post secondary education. CTE includes vocation
education programs approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education that
prepare students for employment after high school graduation or for entering
post-secondary training.
The technical component of Tech Prep and CTE are offered on the WAHS campus.
