My name is Dana Baer. I was a graduate of the Williamsport Area High School in 2002. I played basketball and track and field. I was a member of the chorus, Billtown Banner, and was a National Honors Society Member. After graduating from WAHS I attended Lock Haven University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Social Studies in 2006. I am currently pursuing my masters degree, also from LHU, in Alternative Education. In my student teaching I started at Loyalsock Township High School teaching Psychology, and then moved on to the Alternative Program at Williamsport teaching 7-12th grade Social Studies. After graduating I took a position with South Williamsport and Williamsport as a substitute teacher. In February of 2007 I was hired part-time with the Alternative Education Program in it's Twilight format. In August of 2007 I was hired full time to teach Social Studies in the Alternative Program (full day format). Since August of 2007 I have been teaching with the AEP at the Williamsport High School teaching 7-12 grade Social Studies to troubled and at-risk youth. I also am an assistant coach with the Girls Track and Field Team at WAHS. I am proud once again to be part of the Williamsport Millionaires!
